Still working like a crazy person getting ready for the Allied Arts Holiday Festival of the Arts. We will be setting up the booth Nov 13 & 14, so the last minute prep is on!

Here's a bit of what I worked on this week, all slated for the Festival:

Art Project 2012 - Oct 29 - Nov 4

Working this week on a variety of canvases and ornaments for the Holiday Festival of Arts. 

These are ACEO sized (2.5 x 3.5) stretched canvas and take several layers and a few days to finish due to drying time. I did do the layers on several at a time to be a bit more efficient. :)

Earlier in the week I took took a "just for the fun of it" break and created some art to trade during a "Halloween Art-a-thon" over at atcsforall.com. I haven't had time to create art to trade lately, and it was a nice break. Made me feel good that all the bits of art I created during the a-thon were traded.

I am doing art every day, however I'm having a hard time getting my art photographed and posted. Too many things going on. If I don't manage to get it done every day,  I may start posting a couple times a week to keep you abreast of what I'm doing. We'll see how it goes. :)

Washi tape bird - I only had black and white shades to play with. This is modeled after the fabulous birds Carla Sonheim has been making. I'll be adding more to this fellow.

Artist Trading Card for our local trade - vintage sheet music painted lightly with cream acrylic paint, then layered with distress inks, paper napkin, images stamped on tissue and more inks.
